La escritora americana Leslie Esdaile Banks ha fallecido el 2 Agosto 2011 con tan solo 51 años. Escribió varios géneros incluyendo literatura afroamericana, romance, ficción para mujeres, suspense, dark fantasy/horror and no ficción. Escribió bajo los seudónimos de LA Banks, Leslie Esdaile, Leslie Banks y Leslie Esdaile Banks.
Ganó varios premios literarios incluyendo el de Narrador de la Esencia Literaria del Año 2008.
