COMENTARIO PERSONAL/REVIEW

When I start to read the book, there have been many days since I chose the book and I got it, but I thank it because it has influence on my reading. There is a despot, selfish and manipulative girl. Seen since her point of view, everything is normal. All is turning round her.

Whoever could feel identified with her. In some moments of the life, who has never been selfish and left aside people? This book has a moral. It's not you're going to have a car crash, it's eventually our actions have consequences. They have them for everyone, even ourselves. You reap what you sow. The one difference is our main character is forced to see the things before she ruins the life of many people and herself, and there is no turning back.

I loved the book, it's quite realistic. Besides, it treats several topics, such as bulimia, the impotence of a woman unable of having babies, a father who has left the cause, a boyfriend who lost many time ago her friend and girlfriend and he realized later and so on.

The story is growing little by little and when Bridget wears literally people-around-her's shoes (I loved these scenes), it can be seen the magnitude of her acts. We read the same scenes and we understand better than before.

It's a very readable book and I think everyone can read.

Cuando comienzo a leer el libro, realmente no recordaba de que iba el libro y de alguna manera lo agradezco porque influye en mi lectura. Me encuentro con una niña despota, egoísta y que dirige a la gente a su alrededor como marionetas. Visto desde su punto de vista, todo es normal. Todo gira a su alrededor.

Cualquiera podría sentirse identificada con ella. En algunos momentos de la vida, ¿quién no ha sido egoísta y ha dejado a los demás de lado? Este libro guarda una moraleja. No que vayamos a tener un accidente de tráfico, sino que al final nuestras acciones pasan factura. Tienen consecuencias para todo el mundo, incluidos nosotros mismos. Recoges lo que siembras.
Solo que a nuestra protagonista le hacen ver las cosas antes de que arruine la vida de mucha gente y la suya misma, y ya no haya vuelta atrás.

Me ha gustado mucho el libro, es bastante realista. Además trata temas muy variados, como la bulimia, la impotencia de una madre incapaz de tener hijos, un padre que ha abandonado la causa, un novio que perdió hace tiempo a su amiga y novia y se dio cuenta tarde, etc.

La historia se va desarrollando poco a poco y cuando Bridget se pone literalmente en los zapatos de la gente que le rodea (esas escenas me encantaron), ve la verdadera magnitud de sus actos. Leemos las mismas escenas y las comprendemos mejor si cabe que antes.

Es un libro que se lee fácilmente y que creo que puede leerse a cualquier edad.
